Our Values we embrace at Flourish Asia and the Centre for Stress Management with counselling, coaching, training and consulting guide us in our daily processes and goals to ensure a seamless experience of caring and growth for our clients, especially in times of COVID-19 and post COVID-19. Our COVID-19 Services are delivered with genuine compassion and careful attention as our co-founders have also experienced COVID-19 in their personal and professional lives. In short, we can sincerely and deeply empathize with the experiences our communities and clients are having and or have experienced with COVID-19.
Our Social Responsibility ethos is centred around the value of community and affordability so clients can with the least amount of obstacles seek the care that restores and rejuvinates their wellness. We understand that the frustrations, uncertainty and fears our clients and the community experiences during COVID-19 should not be part of their wellness journey with our practitioners. Thus, when an inquiry is made regarding counselling support for COVID-19, we ensure the service provided increases knowledge on self-care, enhances psychological and physical comfort, and provides a client-specific well-being program for health restoration.
Our Mission Statement states: "From the beginning, our mission has been to make mental health services affordable and accessible for our community," especially in times of a long-term community epidemic. Today the world is turning more towards neuroscience to improve the quality of life, and at Flourish Asia and the Centre for Stress Management we continually integrate lifestyle medicine and neuroscience best practices to enhance our four core services for COVID-19: counselling, coaching, consulting and training. We consider it a privilege and honour when our clients seek services from us, and as our understanding of wellness continues to evolve, we shall also continually strive to go from great to better with our services during and after COVID-19.

Our COVID-19 Care is a service we provide our community and clients from both a personal and professional perspective. With regards to the personal perspective, our co-founders have both tested positive with COVID-19 that impacted their work and personal lives, to include being quarantined at the Hong Kong facility Penny Bay and as well having friends and family members hospitalized for urgent care. Concurrently, we have also experienced being a "close contact" that caused quarantine, isolation, testing and eventual discharge from a quarantine facility and or home quarantine. Regarding our professional experience, with our backgrounds in psychology, neuroscience, lifestyle medicine and infectious diseases, our commitment to remaining current with evidence-based research and clinical practices with vaccinations, medication, COVID-19 recovery, and "long haulers" (those with long-term chronic post COVID-19 recovery symptoms) healthcare challenges are central to our COVID-19 Care.
The fastest way is the best way and the best way is one step at a time. Thus, we do small things one step at a time with unconditional care. Dr Mark
